The Zone Room

For this project, I got to design a space that really speaks to the client’s personality and lifestyle. They’re a young professional who’s all about boxing, so I wanted to create a space that balances everything they need—whether it’s sleeping, working, entertaining, or gaming—while keeping it organized and stylish.

I tucked the bed behind the door to maximize space and added under-bed storage to keep things neat. The custom headboard with built-in charging points is a little touch that makes life easier. I also designed a corner wardrobe to make the most of the room and added a built-in media unit that’s perfect for relaxing or hosting friends. A leather L-shaped sofa creates a cozy divide between the workspace and the sleep zone, so the room flows seamlessly.

For the vibe, I went with a bold color scheme of browns, blacks, and teal, mixing materials like leather, wood, and velvet for a warm, welcoming feel. The dimmable lighting system with smart controls means the room can switch moods effortlessly.

The finishing touch was a bold Muhammad Ali artwork, paired with a neon teal accent—totally reflecting the client’s love for boxing and adding that personal touch to the space.
